Forest school

Oak class were busy at the beginning of Spring term, using our creative talents in the woodland.  The children were given a piece of natural clay and were told to create a tree goblin.  We talked about using things from nature to decorate our characters, such as leaves, berries, sticks etc.  We then invented names for our goblins and talked about what mischief they might get up to when they came alive.

We were busy on National Geographic Day. We had great fun observing the landscape and features we could see around Waterfoot. Then we got to work drawing some fantastic field sketches.

We've been making pizza with the fun food chef! We also made smoothie and ate a desert!

Our Christmas workshop! Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us for some festive arts and crafts! We hope you and your children and enjoyed the workshop!

Oak class have made their mud kitchen into a cafe! The children created menus and built a counter for the till and the telephone. We have had lots of fun taking bookings and serving each other!

The children have been making their own 'star of the day' charts so we worked together as a team to look at what a star of the day chart needs to have on it. This evolved into making certificates and eventually changing our role play area into a school!
