World Book Day 2020

Another fantastic time was had by all at Waterfoot Primary School as children and staff took part in celebrating World Book Day. The day started with a whole school assembly where everyone could show off their amazing costumes. There was a 'guess who' competition where children had to work out which member of staff was hiding behind the cover of their favourite childhood book and lots of other fun book related activities took place in the classrooms. After lunch the whole school took part in a 'share a story' session where members of staff and governors shared a story with a different class.

Our book and reading celebrations continue in a couple of weeks time when Dan Worsley, an amazing children's author, is due to visit Waterfoot to share his books with the children.
