Remembrance Day
Thankyou to Erin, Dorothea and Nell who volunteered to represent Waterfoot School at the Beacons of Light Ceremony on Sunday November 11th which commemorated 100 years since the end WW1. They joined the procession, carrying lanterns, to the Community Memorial in Rawtenstall where a short service was conducted by Revd Chris Casey. During the service, at 7pm, a beacon was lit which joined hundreds of others across the country and at 7.05pm local church bells pealed.
