Ava, from Maple class, entered the 500 word competition. She sent this blog to Mrs Webb and we are so proud of her that we wanted to share it with the whole school.

I submitted a story to the BBC 500 Words Story Writing Competition recently. It is called 'The Boa-Constrictor Who Just Wanted to Hug'. I have just been told that my story is through to the semi-final of the competition! I am very excited as if I reach the final I get to visit Buckingham Palace! :)
