LKS2 Viking Day!
What an eventful and amazing day today in LKS2! A Viking Warrior came to school! At the start of the day, children's classrooms were raided by the Viking warrior and this was followed by a lesson in learning all about his Viking weapons. Some were very dangerous! The children were then captured by Viking sagas, fire building, a game called 'Hnefatfal' (which was like chess) and they even took part in a Viking burial! A day full of History and learning was enjoyed by all.
