Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service School Visit

What an exciting morning KS1 have had today!  We wanted some inspiration for our non fiction writing about firefighters so we were very excited when firefighters from Rawtenstall Fire Station came to visit us in their fire engine.  They showed us their protective clothing and answered all our fantastic questions.  We even got to look at the equipment carried in the fire engine and we were able to sit in the cabin.  It was awesome and we can't wait to get writing!  

 

A huge thank you to the fire crew from Rawtenstall - they were amazing!
