Hedgehog Visit KS1

The children in KS1 have been learning all about hedgehogs and we have read The Hedgehog by Dick King Smith as part of our English unit of work. Following on from this we had a visit from Liz who is a volunteer at The Woodland Sanctuary which is near Ormskirk. She brought two of her hedgehog friends for us to meet. Liz explained how Woodlands Animal Sanctuary help hedgehogs that have been rescued and she told us what to do if we ever find a hedgehog out during the day.
