What an amazing week last week! Antibullying week 2022 followed the theme of ‘Reaching Out’. The children took part in a wide range of special events, assemblies and lessons to raise awareness and understanding of the importance of kindness, tolerance, respect, diversity and learning how to keep themselves safe online and offline. The week kicked off with our ‘Odd Socks Day!’ where the children celebrated being different and unique. Throughout the week, lessons in school focussed on staying safe online, respect and tolerance and how we can reach out to others. Further assemblies included watching the finalists of our antibullying rap competition; all the children who participated were so creative! We ended the week with a special Friday assembly, supporting ‘Children in Need’ and children took part in our ‘Spotty/Yellow/Pudsey’ themed non-uniform fundraiser, raising £322! Wow, what a wonderful week!
