Leaf People

After our woodland walk we used the things we'd collected to make leaf people.

Woodland Walk May 2019

Today we ventured out into our woodland area in search of animal habitats.

We were also excited to see how much the trees had grown since our last walk.

We saw ladybirds, beetles, butterflies, worms, spiders to name but a few.

The trees had really grown and we had fun running through the woodland area.

Lily-Rose found a huge stick.

Caitlin carried a bag to collect things in.

We looked under stones!

World Book Day 2019 Which character's can you spot?

Look how much we enjoyed creating our own traditional tale castles. We used up old cardboard boxes and other bits and bobs that we could find!

Once we'd finished, we made up our own stories and acted them out using our knitted characters.
