Class 1 went on a sponsored welly walk on Friday to help raise funds to buy a mud kitchen for their garden area! We all got wrapped up in our waterproof clothes and wellies and set off for our walk through the woodlands. Alexis got us started by singing ‘We’re going on a bear hunt!’ and everyone joined in. There was lots of mud out there and the children enjoyed jumping and splashing in the mud! We had to balance on the stepping stones to cross a big, muddy puddle and everyone called ‘Who’s that trip trapping over my bridge’ as children crossed! We even got to practise our Maths skills whilst we were out there by finding grasses that were longer and shorter than Mrs Robinson’s! Thank you everyone who has sponsored us! We are hoping the children will soon have a wonderful mud kitchen to play and learn with!
