Change 4 Life Champions

I would like to introduce you to our schools new Change 4 Life champions, Ana Crofts-Berry and Joel Murphy. On Thursday 12th October, Ana, Joel and myself attended a conference where we had the chance to meet other champions who represented their schools. Also on the day we had the privilege of meeting a famous Olympian Charlotte Hartley. She gave an excellent speech all about her life and experiences and how anyone can achieve their goals in life.

Arts Week

What a creative week at Waterfoot Primary School! The entire school took part in an enriching art experience with the theme ‘Movement’. From visits to the Whitaker Art Gallery to a whole school dance in the yard, the children were kept very busy! We invited artists and musicians into school to help the children learn about different art techniques, unleash their creativity and compose their own music. Each class created a bottle top sculpture so that we can create our very own Waterfoot Sculpture Trail. They will soon be appearing around the school grounds for everyone to see.
