At Waterfoot School, the Geography curriculum aims to raise and answer questions about the natural and human worlds. We aim to develop knowledge of places and environments throughout the world, an understanding of maps and a range of investigative and problem solving skills which are applied both inside and outside the classroom.

Geography provides a focus within the curriculum, for understanding and resolving issues concerning the environment and sustainable development. Geography allows pupils to encounter different societies and cultures.

We teach our Geography objectives through our topic work, to make learning more memorable and enjoyable!
